Area of Experience Required The Director of Construction provides strategic, tactical, and team leadership for the field construction team. The Head of Constructions leads the extensive daily operations and establishes the required execution standards for time, cost, and quality to ensure a consistent operating cadence across the KEPL Technical team; The HC also provides functional expertise within KEPL for cross-department collaboration and in support of numerous company initiatives.
Job Profile  / Responsibility
  • Coach and support professional team of Sr PMs and PMs through daily operations of construction management to include verifying proper execution of daily success routines and construction administration, ensuring delivery of projects per "TCQ" (time, cost, quality) standards, supporting timely issue resolution, maintaining a strong developer and contractor base, allocating balanced team workload, and building overall team member capability.
  • Lead the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline management and forecasting process to include project progress reporting, risk profile flag status, accurate completion dates, and attention to project level detail to anticipate/resolve issues.
  • Provide functional, technical, and program management expertise for the construction to include work flow definition, standards and specification documentation, stakeholder coordination, organization infrastructure and capability building, administrative management, daily operational execution, and project closeout.

Years of Experience 15 years in QA / QC for Projects
Area of Experience Required Must be well versed in Standards and Specifications of construction and maintenance / refurbishment and be knowledgeable of construction practices and economics involved.
Job Profile  / Responsibility
  • Implement the QA/QC management system at Site
  • Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site sub contractors and vendors coordinate all non destructive testing on site
  • Coordinate with the customer's representative on all quality matters.
  • Coordinate all receipt inspections
  • Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
  • Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
  • Participate in the site internal and external site audits
  • Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors
  • Ensure all quality control documentation is complied and competed for as-built hand over through the QC turnover engineer
  • Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action
  • Compete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses
  • Review the customers specification and undertake relevant training to the site QC inspector
  • Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan
  • Complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer
  • Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel

  • Ensure the safety is adhered to at site

QA / QC Engineer

Education Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Years of Experience 8 years in QA / QC for Projects
Area of Experience Required Must be well versed in Standards and Specifications of construction and maintenance / refurbishment and be knowledgeable of construction practices.
Job Profile  / Responsibility
  • Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.
  • Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc with the Project Team and to ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.
  • Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made pass the Contract Plan and Contract Specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
  • technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As-built drawings
  • Assist QA/QC Manager in conducting internal quality audits.
  • Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Contract Specifications or normal construction industry practices.
  • Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
  • Attend Monthly Project Review Meetings (PRM) and alert the project team of any potential problems

Site Engineer

Job Title Site Engineer
Education Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Years of Experience Minimum 3 plus years in Construction field.
Job Profile  / Responsibility
  • Setting out (marking the position of structures) and levelling the site
  • Surveying the site
  • Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work
  • Overseeing the purchase of materials for use in the construction
  • Planning the work and efficiently organising site facilities in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines
  • Liaising with sub-contractors engaged in the project
  • Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress
  • Supervising and monitoring the site labour force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors
  • Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are up kept
  • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may occur
